Bill Belew has raised 2 bi-cultural kids, now 34 and 30. And he and his wife are now parenting a 3rd, Mia, who is 8.

Who would think that after 5,000 years that something new would come out of China?

I mean, hasn’t everything been thought of already?

Not so. There’s a new style of Chinese massage that is making the rounds.

It’s called BodyWalking.

And, I created it.

In this video you can see me demonstrating it on my dad.

Notice how the heels of my feet apply just the right amount of pressure in the places my daddy needs to feel it the most.

Of course, there is much laughter and happiness involved as well.

I mean again, isn’t the purpose of a massage to make you feel better?

This kind of massage will loosen your muscles and soothe your innards.

My daddy and I have not perfected the technique yet, but we are working on it.

We might need a solid place for my daddy to lay on. And I could use better balance. Or maybe my daddy shouldn’t be so round. Or or …

We will figure it out.

But, in the meantime, I am wondering if anybody else has experimented with bodywalking massage technique. And can you share some of your best practices and suggestions so we can do a better job?

He he he …

Talk to Bill and others about their experiences raising bi-cultural Japanese-American kids.
