Happy Birthday Mommy

Today is my mommy’s birthday.

I know she reads my blog. Don’t all mommies keep an eye on what their little girls are doing?

My mommy does. And I am very happy about that. I might not like what she finds. I might not like what she asks me to do or not do. But I love that mommy looks out for me.

She wants me to be safe. She wants me to be the best I can be. She protects me. She feeds me. She cares for me when I am sick.

In short and in long she loves me.

Here’s a poem for you on your birthday mommy.

My mommy is the absolute best. Don’t all little girl’s think so?

Over and over again she takes care of all I need.

More and more she helps me grow.

My mommy teaches me to follow her lead.

Years will go by and I already know …

When I am older, I want to be, like my mommy.

Happy Birthday, Mommy. I really really love and appreciate all that you always do for me.

I will do my best to grow up and make you proud.

You can count on me to always love you.

I am so glad that out of all the mommies that God could have given to me, he picked you.
