Steve Jobs House

Steve Jobs House

Somebody was going to do it.

There are lots of entrepreneurs in the area. Okay, it’s in the blood of nearly everyone around here.

Start ups or company owner wannabes are as common as bright sunny days in Sunnyvale, in the heart of Silicon Valley.

Steve Jobs died.

His house did not die. It was designated a historical site by the city of Los Altos.

So … people want to know where the house is. And can they go take a look.

Lemonade stands are now replaced by local folk offering tours or instructions on how to find his once lived in house where Apple was just a seed and Jobs and his buddies drank apple juice for breakfast.

The address to get started is 2066 Crist Drive, Los Altos and away you go.

Hold up a flag and hold out your hand, do a little study and you might be able to be a dossier for others too lazy to do the same.

And while you are at it, you can set up an apple juice stand in the yard next door. That’ll make some money … or not.

Need a bonus destination – 232 Santa Margarits Ave. Menlo Park is the house and garage where Google started.

And Facebook, and Hewlett-Packard and Intel and … yeah, they can all be found, too!

Talk to Bill and others about their experiences raising bi-cultural Japanese-American kids.
