Bumrah’s relentless accuracy and pace were too much for the Australian batsmen, who struggled to cope with the conditions. Debutant Harshit Rana also made a considerable impact, picking up two crucial wickets, including the dangerous Mitchell Starc.
Australia was eventually bowled out for 104, giving India a crucial 46-run lead. The Indian bowlers, particularly Bumrah and Rana, were instrumental in ensuring that Australia could not mount a significant resistance.
