A 2-year old Chinese Crested and Chihuahua mix was crowned the world’s ugliest dog….for 2007.

I am sure that in 1972 it was the girl who asked me to take her to the prom. (they could that back then). I know what girls feel like when guys ask them out and they can’t turn them down. Wait! Maybe I was the ugliest one.

The dog, Elwood, is dark colored and hairless, except for a mohawk puff of white on his forehead.

His owner thinks “he’s the cutest thing that ever lived.”

Yeah, my mom thought I was cute, too. But, my dad used to tie a pork chop around my neck just to get our dog to

play with me.

Elwood almost was euthanized because the breeder thought he would be too ugly to sell.

Now…the dog has beaten out other Chinese Crested mixes to take home a crown and a $1,000 for his owner.
