Can your iPad change a diaper? Make dinner? Take me to the park?

If so, then maybe it’ll get hired to be a babysitter.

More and more parents are using tech gadgets to keep their kids occupied so that the parents can do something else … like shop for another gadget for the kid to play with after or when they grow tired of the one they are playing with now.

I like to play games on my daddy’s phone. Painting fingernails is my favorite. I can also watch movies.

But I can also practice my cursive penmanship, too.

Does anybody remember what that is?

It’s kind of nifty. You write the letters A B C but they kind of are all bendy and blend together instead of a bunch of straight lines.

The problem is my hands don’t do what my head and eyes tell them to do.

I got a good report from my teacher when mommy and daddy went to the teacher-parent conference. The teacher said that IF I want to practice more at something, then I could practice my writing. IF I want to.

Daddy went looking for an app on his phone and he found one. And I tried and tried and I got better, too … and it was fun.

But most of all, I didn’t even know I was being babysat.
