Bill Belew has raised 2 bi-cultural kids, now 34 and 30. And he and his wife are now parenting a 3rd, Mia, who is 8.

And I thought the drive-thru marriages in Reno and Las Vegas was a fast way to tie the knot.

There are 80 some young people, aged 14-18-years old who are in therapy for their addiction to the Internet at the General Hospital of the Beijing Military Area Command of the Chinese PLA.

Almost one in four (23%) of them have been married …online.

One Romeo or is it Casanova has been hitched more than 100 times…so much so that now he says he is afraid of real marriage.

And if he isn’t, girls ought to be afraid to marry him for sure.

Another case is an 18-year old boy who met his ‘wife’ and fell in love while playing a group computer game. He then traveled to her city and they began dating…and got married, online.

He said it was a ‘real marriage’ to him. But the girl’s parents disapproved. I wonder why…and they got divorced…online, of course.

56% of the 80 addicts being treated say they would like to meet their ‘partners’ in real life AFTER having married them online.

One of the doctors says, “An online marriage could mislead them as to the real meaning of marriage.”

There’s another cure available…let them get married. Then they will learn the REAL meaning of marriage.

Talk to Bill and others about their experiences raising bi-cultural Japanese-American kids.
