Nobody has ever accused the Chinese police force of being the warm and fuzzy type.
In the cities of Zhengzhou and Xingyang in central Henan cops are displaying a banner for robbers that says –
Debate has ensued on whether a police officer has the right to execute criminals at the scene of a crime.
Uh…no. But, then this is China.
If a policeman witnesses a motorcyclist robbing a pedestrian, s/he can shoot the dude…right then, right now.
Some think…what took the cops so long to come up with the policy.
Others think…why not shoot them in the arm or leg?
I reckon the best course of action is for the would-be robbers to think again.
Maybe that’s the real intent of this campaign.
