Bill Belew has raised 2 bi-cultural kids, now 34 and 30. And he and his wife are now parenting a 3rd, Mia, who is 8.
Here’s a law and a punishment to go with that it that we could use in the United States.
Some dude got into a fight with two middle school students. When the students escaped into their dormitory, the teachers hanging out chased the man away.
The guy got angry, came back and destroyed a number of things in the dorm.
He then went out, lowered the Chinese national flag and burnt it.
How that was going to show him he could beat the boys will remain a mystery.
The school sued the knothead and a court sentenced him to six months in prison for insulting the national flag.
Chinese law requires that organizations and citizens respect and treasure the national flag.
Freedom of expression? Burning the U.S. flag? Not the same.
Flag burners in the United States should be sent to jail in China for six months.
What do you think?
