Google has found a new way to do business in Japan.
Google will team up with Japan’s International Telephone Co. KDDI to offer Internet search services in Japan via mobile phone starting in about two months.
In Japan, where smaller is best, the Japanese will be able to search on their cell phones.
My question is, and I know I am setting myself up, why would you want to do a Google search on your cell phone?
Someone is likely to tell me sometimes how stupid this question is, but what are you going to search for and more importantly, will you be able to see the results?
I can’t even see what time it is on my phone even when the digits are in supersized mode. I can’t imagine trying to read Google search results on a mobile phone screen, especially if I must go through those stupid sponsored results first.
