Snow White’s Personality

My daddy does marketing, sorta kinda. He says people misperceive what marketers do.

Many people think marketers are salespeople, people trying to push stuff on other people who really don’t want or care about what’s being pushed.

Not my daddy. He says he teaches people how to make good stuff, so much so, that people come looking. No pushing. Pulling he calls it.

People … you gotta have people. Even Walt Disney knew that.

At the museum I saw in big letters on the wall – “You can dream, create, design and build the most wonderful place in the world (the letters get bigger) , but it requires people to make the dream real.”

That can mean that you need people to dream, create, design and build. It can also mean you need people to enjoy the creation. It probably means both.

The simple truth – if we are not serving other people, then what are we doing?

We are on this earth to make it a better place for people.

Music, art, technology, science … take your pick … are to make the world a better place for people.

What are you doing to make the people’s lives around you a better place?

Talk to Bill and others about their experiences raising bi-cultural Japanese-American kids.
