An Indian TV channel is looking for some good singers in a place where they know people like to sing…the shower.

But…are they looking in the shower?

A new reality music singing contest – “Bathroom Singer” will be shown on the Filmy entertainment channel.

The goal is to find an untrained performer who can sing and enthrall viewers with a combination of voice and certain flavor, exuberance and energy.

Uh…and they expect to find such a person doing their thing outside of the shower?

I think people sing better, relatively, in the shower because they are completely uninhibited and don’t mind ‘letting go.’

Take the shower away and you got someone standing there with nothing but a shower cap.

Contestants must be over 18 and be willing to sing dressed in a bathroom with tiled walls, showers and taps.

Themes and situations will be posed and certain costumes will be required.

Seriously…how many situations can a person have in the shower…I mean clean situations…as in, well, hopefully the reader knows what I mean. If not…you are on the wrong site.

India’s Filmy Studio hopes to attract older contestants. That’s most likely all they will get. I mean, how hard is it to get some kids to take a shower?
