How can anybody possibly answer the question –
“Who do you love more, Mommy or Daddy?”
I suppose sometimes there might be a clear answer for some people who have a mommy or daddy missing. Like Snow White. Or Cinderella.
But for me, it’s an impossible question.
But now I know the answer. My daddy taught me.
I have 2 brothers, Benjamin and Micah.
Mommy is a US Citizen
Daddy used to tell them which one of them he loved the most.
When their eyes got real big and they looked at him for the answer he would say,
“The answer to which one of you guys I love the most is …..”
“It’s a tie!”
“Who do I love more, Mommy or Daddy?”
“Mommy feeds me and dresses me and takes care of me when I am sick.”
“Daddy plays with me and plays with me and plays with me. And wrestles and tells me stories and …”
“The answer to the question of who I love more, Mommy or Daddy ….”
“It’s a tie!’
But Daddy says he loves me most of all.
But then, there is only one of me to love.
