Bill Belew has raised 2 bi-cultural kids, now 34 and 30. And he and his wife are now parenting a 3rd, Mia, who is 8.

That’s the funniest name in the world for a palace.

My fingers won’t stop laughing long enough for me to keep writing.

“A palace for cows?” The name is older than my daddy … 1935. Daddy was born in (Ed. Mia!) And that question was asked in a newspaper a long time ago. And the name was born.

California used to be cowboy country. Maybe there is a connection.

Identity Unleashed

Basketball teams and running and jumping games and hockey and circuses and rodeos (Cows!) have been held there.

This Saturday – my daddy and some of his friends are going to hear to Chinese American speak on Identity Unleashed.

They can get 10,000-16,000 cows, um, daddies and such in to the Cow Palace. I think it depends on whether they are Caucasian American or Chinese American. They are different sizes. 😎

And the event this weekend is sold out. But the tickets were free. Still they had to be reserved. So, I guess that means all the seats have been reserved.

I will get a report from my daddy after the event.

The speakers are Jeremy Lin and Francis Chan.

Jeremy can play basketball and Francis has quite a reputation as a good teacher. So, it sounds like it’ll be good fun … for people who want to take the ropes off of who they are, or have forgotten who they are = Identity Unleashed. I am not sure
