Bill Belew has raised 2 bi-cultural kids, now 34 and 30. And he and his wife are now parenting a 3rd, Mia, who is 8.

It must be because my mommy and daddy took me to the magic kingdom.

Now I have a magic nation. (Ed: imagination)

Magic nations are fun. (Ed: imagination!)

I can go anywhere, do anything, be anybody and still be safe at home. How cool is that?

Today, my daddy was sooooo excited he said.

He had breakfast with Princess Jasmine. (Don’t tell him that it was me! Hee hee…)

He made waffles, and he sang “A Whole New World” and he danced in the kitchen, and well, he generally made a fool of himself. But I don’t mind cuz that’s my daddy. He enjoys life and he has a magic nation, (Ed: Sigh. See above.) too.

I wonder if I should tell my daddy that it was really me he was having breakfast with and not THE princess Jasmine.

I don’t want to hurt his feeling, cuz he loves me so much and gives me many many shaky hugs. (Squeezes me till I sh-sh-a-a-a-a-ke-ke). But then again, he tells me I am a princess, too. So, I don’t think he’ll mind.

Sounds good to me.

Maybe some day they’ll be a movie about me, too.

If not, I don’t mind because I can always make one in my magic nation. (Ed: Sigh!!)
