Eric Holder served with Caroline Kennedy and Jim Johnson on Obama’s vice presidential selection committee.
Eric Holder graduated from Columbia Law School.
He worked in the U.S. Justice Department as a trial attorney in the Public Integrity section from 1976 to 1988.
He was appointed by President Ronald Reagan to serve as an Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
In 1993 Holder was appointed U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia by President Bill Clinton.
Today, November 18, 2008, Newsweek reported that Holder has been asked to serve as United States Attorney General by President-elect Obama.
Eric Holder is already being criticized…by the The National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC). Might as well get used to it. Won’t matter what Obama does, somebody will be for it and some against it.
