A 43-year old Chicago firefighter went to a New Delhi hospital.
“I’m a firefighter. I need to look the part. I wanted to improve my jawline. Bruce Willis has a nice strong jaw,” he told the Hindustan Times newspaper.
The result – he now has a jawline that looks like Bruce Willis’….for $1,600, about one-tenth of what it would have cost him had the procedure been done in the states.
India has become the destination for thousands of Americans and European medical tourist looking for facelifts, tummy tucks, lip implants to be more like Angelina Jolie.
Good grief.
A doctor shared an excerpt from the firefighter’s letter – “a man who jumps into burning buildings, people in the community look up to him and he needed to maintain his macho image.”
So, how macho is it to need a needle and a knife to look the part?
The same man had eyelid surgery a year prior.
This reminds me of the story of a 60-year old woman who heard God’s voice – “You will live to be 100 years old.”
The woman was so excited she got a tummy tuck, facelift and a number of other cosmetic procedures done. Soon she looked 35 again.
A couple of days later she was crossing the street and got hit by a bus and killed.
When she approached God, she complained, “I thought you said I would live to be a hundred?”
God replied, “Is that you!? I didn’t recognize you.”
As for me, I just wish my bank account looked like Bruce Willis’.

I had a chance to see this Bruce willis!!!. He confided that he never wanted to look like bruce and its all , in his words “15mins to fame” by the hospital which operated on him. He was in very bad shape after the so called surgery and was unable to eat. His surgery was in one word very shoddy work which was performed with probably no planning.
The jaw line which everybody is talking was actually been created in USA.
