Gabrielle WALCOTT will represent Trinidad and Tobago at the Miss World 2008 pageant at Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg on Saturday 13th December 2008 and take the crown from current Miss World, China’s Zhang Zilin.

She speaks: English

 

Gabrielle comes from the Caribbean island of Trinidad.

Gabrielle dreams to become an actress.

Her first degree is in Visual and Theatre Arts from the University of the West Indies.

She now lives in New York where she is doing post graduate studies in Acting and Theatre Arts.

Gabrielle is currently also a youth ambassador to the UN for Trinidad & Tobago.

She enjoys: equestrian show jumping; yoga; pilates; dance; fashion design/sewing; art; photography; theater; piano; ballroom & Latin dance; swimming; First Aid (CPR/Life guard training); and has just starting to learn Spanish.

 

She loves Trinidad’s local cuisine: from roti, to shark and crab and dumplings.

Her motto – the Golden Rule – “Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you”.

Gabrielle is a favorite in Johannesburg.
