My daddy can wear shorts and a t-shirt into a room full of people all wearing suits and ties and make them feel like they overdressed not make him feel like he underdressed.
Daddy is funny that way. He dresses in a way that he is most comfortable.
But … when he was in Bangkok speaking about Social Media to a group of Asians from 30-40 different countries, even daddy figured out of respect he would meet their dress code.
He didn’t need to.
There was another guy – mid to late 60’s from somewhere in Asia who wore his bath robe to the exhibit room floor.
Overdressing at a Conference

The picture is blurry because, I want to say, to not give away the guy’s identity. But most probably because daddy is not really good at taking pictures.
Seriously, this fellow showed up at the main exhibit hall floor is just his bathrobe and slippers. We don’t know what or if there was anything on underneath.

Daddy says the rule when you are not sure is to overdress. You can always dress down a bit in a pinch, but you can’t dress up.
