Bill Belew has raised 2 bi-cultural kids, now 34 and 30. And he and his wife are now parenting a 3rd, Mia, who is 8.

My daddy uses a lot of body language when he speaks to an international crowd.

He was in Bangkok not long ago talking about Social Media and marketing. That’s what he does. Social Media Marketing and talking.

Daddy also gets pretty excited … or just puts a lot of energy into his talks.

And when he puts energy in his talks you can see it in his arms and legs and eyes.

There were 100+ people in his two talks when he spoke at the hospital management Asia conference in Bangkok.

The room was long. Daddy says he prefers wide so he can walk back and forth.

It’s harder to keep people engaged when they are far away. And if you go to the back of the room, you are behind the backs of people in the front of the room.

If a room is wide, you are always in front of people, just closer to some than others.

The way daddy makes up for people being far away is by changing the energy in his voice and using his arms and legs a lot… and his face …. and his sense of humor.

I bet its hard to make all the people laugh at the same time when they all come from different cultures.

My daddy can do it.

Do you use a lot of gestures when you talk?
