Word count on the second draft of book 4 – The Floating City is 141,620 words.
We have about 20 chapters to go on the second draft of  the 1st rewrite.

The best part – We have 14 people reading along and providing feedback!! Woot! Woot!

This book will be the best one yet.
If you did not volunteer to be an advance reader, also called beta reader, perhaps next time. We already have a plot and location for book 5, tentatively titled – The Opposite Attraction.

Good & Stupid

Good and stupid usually means really stupid.

Not this time. I (dad) did something stupid but it turned out to be good, too.

The stupid – I missed a setting on getting emails from you guys. For nearly 10 months I was getting replies and you thought I was ignoring you. I am so so so sorry.

The good – I found out. I spent hours this week responding to over 100 emails, (123 to be exact) to try and catch up.

The better – You all were terrific in the emails. Very kind and encouraging words. Mostly. A big thanks.

We love you all and thank you deeply for reading. We’ll do our best.
