My neighbors are rich. The state I live in is richer, too … or maybe less more.

Since a whole lot of people have decided to invest in Twitter, my neighbor … there are a lot more rich people.

There are now more than 1,600 new millionaires in/near San Francisco. Lots of people who work in the City live in the South Bay … near me.

The co-founders of Twitter. Ev Williams and Jack Dorsey have become billionaires. That’s a lot of zeroes!

And because all these new rich people are in a higher tax bracket … California will see $479,000,000 more in income taxes paid.

Daddy says thank you to all those people outside of California who invested, although he doesn’t really think he will be paying less taxes.

It also means that land prices will go up. More people have more money to get what they want.

(We already have a house that we could sell for more money, but it would cost us too much to get another.) Boy is this confusing for little girls.

I just want to make sure the price of My Little Pony toy packs don’t go up.

Or … maybe I can sell mine for more money than we paid and take the extra cash and and …
