Happy New Year

Happy New Year

Just a quick note to say Happy New Year to regular PanAsianBiz readers.

At this point I should write about new year’s resolutions and lofty goals for this year.

To be sure, I have in the back of my mind things I’d like to accomplish, in life and here at PAB.

PAB enjoyed more than 1 million visitors last year and 1.87 million page views.

I wonder, what is everyone looking at. But, happy I am that you have come.

RSS readers have climbed from 360ish to 780ish.

Hmm…could I double both of those numbers this year I wonder?

I am going to try.

I will introduce different series, starting with Learn Chinese with Me, in hopes of finding regular readers who will come back often.

I hope to have guest writers who will give a little spice, maybe even some sugar or cinnamon to the blog. And maybe some of their readers will come visit and stay, too.

This year is the Olympics in China. Watch for me to have a lot to say about that.

PAB is about all of east Asia. I’d like to venture outside of China a bit more often than I have in the past and take a look at what else is going on in, Taiwan, the PI, Korea, Singapore, Russia, too.

The underlying purpose of PAB, however, will not change.

To create a discussion, an awareness.

“Hey, look what’s going on over here. What do you think about that?”

Oh, and if you look at how I ask, you’ll probably know what I think, too.

Thanks for reading.

And, please come back often.

Talk to Bill and others about their experiences raising bi-cultural Japanese-American kids.
