Where do old Chinese American tennis players go?

Michael Chang, Zhang Depei, is a sportscasting the Masters Cup in Shanghai for the Shanghai Sports Channel.

Why not? It makes good business sense for him, no?

Michael Chang was the youngest winner ever of the French Open when he was just 17 years old and 3 months.

Still 35 years young, he no longer plays competitively, due to health reasons.

But, he does still make money in the sport.

Will China be sending any more Michael Changs to play on the ATP tour soon?

Who is China’s top tennis player?

On the men’s side – Hyung-taik, Lee from Korea is # 49 and the top-ranked Asian player. China has no one in the top 100.

On the women’s side – Na Li at # 21…also the top-ranked Asian player.
