Hiding Shoes

Do children who live by cows who chew lilies (Ed: bi-culturally) have cents about humans? (Ed: a sense of humor)?

I am not sure about such things but I know that I laughed so hard this morning that I fell on my butt. And then my mommy and daddy laughed so hard they almost cried.

Which makes me want to ask, “If it’s funny, why are they crying?” Anyway…

I love to tease my daddy.

Each morning he drives me to the Johnny Appleseed school. We take the Bob and Larry X Press Way and we teach other how to say things. I tell him in Chinese and he tells me in Japanese.

Anyway… this morning, I thought it would be fun to hide his shoes. Well, actually I think that’s fun to do all the time. Daddy looks at me like I am nuts. (That’s the funny part. You should see his face!!! My daddy says he has a face for radio.)

“What’s with hiding my shoes all the time? Where’d she learn to do that? And why? And she thinks that’s funny!?”

Yup. That’s the funny part. My daddy’s face when he’s all jig saw puzzled about why I do things.

But then he laughs. And mommy laughs. And I laugh. And we sing laughter and and and

And I gotta tell you, there is nothing more fun, not funnier, but funner, than seeing my mommy and daddy with loud faces….oh, and my daddy’s jiggling belly.

Yeah, we little kids cannot only speak different languages and understand different things…we can also laugh in different cultures, too.

Can you?
