Reverse Culture Shock

Reverse Culture Shock

Reverse Culture Shock is when you come home and find out that things aren’t the way you remember them.

Daddy lived in another country longer than he lived in America … for a while. But he has been back for a while.

Still, he says he goes through reverse culture shock from time to time.

He was at work today. He goes to a co-working space.  There they have people from all over the world come to work.

There is super speed internet and and and … that kind of thing.

But sometimes, people just don’t get the rules. Maybe they are not from America. Or maybe Americans just don’t do things the way they used to.

Everybody was working … hummm hummm … and suddenly some guy grabs a guitar and starts playing.

He didn’t play loud. And it wasn’t bad playing. It was just not what you do in a working space.

The work space even has a place where people can relax and play. But not this guy. He wants to play in the work space.

Playing doesn’t happen in working spaces. Play, work. Don’t mix. Right?

Well, somebody needed to tell this guy.

Unfortunately, it had to be daddy.

Common sense isn’t so common I reckon.
