Bill Belew has raised 2 bi-cultural kids, now 34 and 30. And he and his wife are now parenting a 3rd, Mia, who is 8.

NBCs international arm has licensed a Mandarin-language version of its 11-years and running popular “Access Hollywood” program to China.

The program is very creatively called, “Access Hollywood China.” Why not Chollywood?

Chen Juan will host the one hour a week program which will be produced in Beijing.

“The fact that ‘Access Hollywood’ is being produced in Beijing with a Chinese host, and the majority of the content is shot in China, is a testament to how well this format adapts culturally,” said an NBC VP.

Uh…how hard can it be to put up a celebrity, air out their dirty laundry, and watch them suffer in their travails or glory in their short lived fame?

The Small World Television CEO echoed, “The appetite for international entertainment lifestyle content in China is increasing dramatically.”

I wonder, did he go to school to learn that or did it come to him naturally?

The Chinese want to know, too, what goes on in the lives of the rich and famous that they have no business knowing about.
