Up to the goal!

Yao (Ming) puts the honor of playing for the nation in the first place and will obey the plans of the man’s national basketball team,” says Yao’s agent.

Besides, his wife, Ye Li, is a basketball player on the women’s national team.

She understands.

Yup, I am sure she understands … for now. Wait for a couple of weeks and then we’ll learn who Yao Ming’s real agent is.

The couple is expected to apply for a marriage certificate in the next couple of days and then throw a wedding party later this month …. a month earlier than they had hoped.

Baby? Nope.

Basketball schedule? Yup.

Summer is a busy match season for Yao Ming and international basketball.

In America on Sunday … Shanghai on Monday … Beijing on Tuesday as special ambassador for the 2007

Olympic Games …. back in Shanghai on Wednesday.

Ye Li and Yao Ming will find time to fit a wedding party in there somewhere and then it will be back to the basketball grind.

Yao might think Chinese national basketball officials are tough….maybe his agent has too many demands….the Rockets need him back by fall, too.

Wait till his wife tells him it’s his turn to do the dishes. Then we will know who is in charge.
