Chinese Church in Christ

My mommy and I go to a Chinese church in Mountain View. We have been going a long time. My daddy comes, too when he is not working at another church. Sometimes he is asked to be a preacher for a while at a church while they look for someone.

Daddy goes to the English service. Mommy goes to the Chinese one.

I go to both! English language one and Chinese language one.

Daddy says that the English preacher does a good job. He is a very good student, good insights and works hard at and succeeds in his word choice. His name is Stephen Chen.

Today the pastor stepped a bit out of character and asked the sound people to stop recording for a moment so he could make a public display of affection.

“It was cool what he said,” daddy told me. I think what he said was cool enough to share here.

Stephen and his pretty wife Shirley celebrated their anniversary today.

Stephen said in front of the 100 + people about his wife, “I see you all (the 100+) in black and white but I see her in color.”

I really hope someday someone will say that about me.

Right now my daddy says, “I see everyone else is standing still, but I see you (Mia) is moving at high speed.”
