Bill Belew has raised 2 bi-cultural kids, now 34 and 30. And he and his wife are now parenting a 3rd, Mia, who is 8.
Pocahontas has a lot of followers on Facebook. I think she is like 3rd or 4th most popular of all the princesses.
She has a million people. Well, maybe not that many. But more than I can count. I get lost at around 16. But I am getting better.
I think Cinderella and Ariel and Rapunzel have more followers.
Wh0’s your favorite?
I like Ariel.
Pocahontas has a rule to be a princess. Actually she has two. I’ll tell you one now and another one in the next post.
Pocahontas’ rule # 1 for being a princess –
“If you can paint with all the colors of the wind, you might be a princess.”
Wow! Wow!
I love to paint. And I have no idea how many colors there are in the wind. Do you know?
I know red and orange and yellow and green and blue and and violet.
What is Pocahontas’ favorite color?
I’ll bet it’s indigo. He he he.
I guess I am not a princess yet. First I need to learn all the colors of the wind, then I need to learn how to grab them and put them in my bucket. Then I need to get a wind brush.
And then I can start practicing. And maybe then I can be a princess.
Or maybe … it’s just trying what seems to be impossible or making the impossible seem possible is what being a princess is all about.
What do you think is the most important quality of a princess?
