Bill Belew has raised 2 bi-cultural kids, now 34 and 30. And he and his wife are now parenting a 3rd, Mia, who is 8.
My daddy called it lucky smart. He often says he is very lucky but the only luck he ever has is bad.
Not last night. He says he was lucky smart.
Of course, he didn’t get smart until he yelled at his computer so loud I went running to my grandma and grandpa’s place … without my little red riding hood, too!
Daddy was searching online for airplane tickets for us to fly to Florida. We are going on a cruise. He is going to lecture on Social Media to the cruisers and I am going to soak in the Jacuzzi.
But before we board the ship we are going to stop by Disney World and Epcot Center.
Then the problems began.
The price for tickets he found in the afternoon that he wanted to show mommy in the evening went up. And not just a little bit. And each time he stepped away from the computer they went up more! Daddy was using words I had never heard before. Insidious. Unscrupulous.
“All of them are dirty! Expedia. Kayak. Cheapoair. All of them!”
Then he hit his head so hard I could feel it. “They are saving my searches. Each time I search they raise the price.”
So … to the part of how to save money on online bookings.

Daddy went to his browser and ate some cookies. (Ed. I emptied out all the saved up cookies on my browser). It’s different for each browser. Do a search on how to remove them and follow the steps.
After daddy removed the cookies and searched again … you betcha! … he got the first cheap price he found earlier in the day. And he bought the tickets right then and there. For more than $300 EACH times 5 people.
With that money … Look out princesses … Here comes, Mia!!
