Bill Belew has raised 2 bi-cultural kids, now 34 and 30. And he and his wife are now parenting a 3rd, Mia, who is 8.

Dads who have been there done that well the name suggests it doesn’t it ? We will discuss about these category of dads who have gone through the pain of parenting and some of them have memorable and enjoyable experiences.  They are usually found to be advising other parents of their experiences of parenthood and are willing to share tips and ideas on how to make their friends lives easier by sharing tips and success stories of what works and what does not.  They usually have the luxury of being able to speak from experience and they utilize their experience in forming a basic understanding of bringing up their kids and therefore have a psychological profile of their kids. They are able to read between the lines of what their own kids think and therefore utilize the wealth of their knowledge of the past to guide their children and make them fall in life.

These dads love to mentor other dads in this situation and try to relate their experiences and apply it to the context that is relevant in the other person’s situation.  They are always in control of the situation and never allow the situation to get to them.
