My daddy and mommy met online.
“Back when it was uncool to meet online,” daddy says.
I am not sure what he means by not being online. Hasn’t everybody been online all the time?
Daddy says he met mommy in a forum somewhere. She was going in one direction and he was going in the other.
Not sure how you do that online either.
He was going to China for a business trip and Mommy was coming to the United States to ‘give daddy the business,’ says daddy. I never really know what he means. I just smile and giggle a lot.
Daddy showed up at the airport and Mommy met him to show him around. Mommy put him up in the silly hotel. That’s really how you say it! But maybe it’s spelled different. Remember, I never know when to take daddy seriously.
Actually, I do know when.
He was serious when he asked mommy 15 years ago to marry him … and she said, “Yes.”
And he’s serious every day when he loves mommy now … and me, too.
I am sure they will enjoy the movie – Forever My Girl.
