Bill Belew has raised 2 bi-cultural kids, now 34 and 30. And he and his wife are now parenting a 3rd, Mia, who is 8.
Daddy watches baseball. (Ed. Adrian Peterson is a football player).
I don’t know my sports very well, but I know daddy likes the Cincinnati somethings. In fact, I don’t even know where or what a Cincinnati is.
Daddy said there was a horrible happening today.
A football player, Adrian Peterson, was away from his 2-year old baby. The baby’s mommy wasn’t there either. Some guy, Joseph Patterson was home with the baby … alone. Patterson is the same age as my big brother, Micah – 27.
Patterson called the police to tell them the baby died. It seems somebody beat the baby until the baby died. The police took Patterson away.
I can’t believe somebody would do this. My mommy and daddy would never ever beat me. Ever. Never.
How does this kind of thing happen? You can read more about it anywhere on the Internet.
Daddy told me.
I am going to church in a little bit and I want to ask my friends and my teacher to pray for the baby’s father and mother.
And I want to pray that never ever again would a baby be beaten so hard that the baby dies.
I want to pray that mommies and daddies and babies everywhere will love each other.
My heart is sick.
Can I send hugs via the internet?
Or maybe just send some love via Adrian Peterson’s Twitter Account –
