Michelle Kwan - Chinese-American

Michelle Kwan – Chinese-American

Michelle Kwan is teaming up with ESPN and Disney to help promote the 2014 Special Olympics.

Call Michelle Kwan the giver who keeps on giving.

The goal is to get 1 million people – athletes, coaches and volunteers to support the idea of having unified teams where Olympians and Special Olympians participate in the same games on the same teams.

There is a global ban on the idea now.

Wow! The whole world is afraid of the idea.

ESPN is providing the marketing help. And Michelle Kwan along with other key sports figures are lending their support by actively speaking out.

Michelle Kwan has been involved with Special Olympics for more than half her life.

Just over 30 Michelle Kwan first got involved when she was 15.

Already a national champion at the time she was asked to be a judge.  And has beeb involved ever since.

We might be amazed at how many people would pitch in and help if they were just asked.

I mean who doesn’t like the feeling of being needed when they really can help out?

So ESPN and Michelle… where and how do we sign up?

Kwan will be an analyst at the 2014 Winter Games for Fox Sports.

Kwan is a champion, a finisher,  an ambassador and a giver whose opinions matter.

What do you think of Michelle Kwan?

Talk to Bill and others about their experiences raising bi-cultural Japanese-American kids.
